LenaDesk helps service businesses answer calls and capture and manage customer enquiries. This policy explains, in plain terms, the sort of information we handle and why.

Information we handle

When a customer submits an enquiry, we collect the details they provide — such as their name, phone number, optional email, suburb, and a description of the job — so the business can respond. When our AI receptionist answers a call, it captures the caller’s details as structured notes and a summary. Businesses using LenaDesk provide their own account and contact details.

Call recordings

Call recording is off unless the business turns it on. When it is on, the recorded call is announced at the very start, before anything is captured and before the caller is asked anything — so a caller who would rather not be recorded can hang up and no recording is kept. We don’t store a written transcript of the call; the business sees a summary, and can play the recording.

Recordings are stored privately, are only reachable by the business the call was for, and are deleted after 90 days by an automatic process. The job record and its summary stay after that — the recording expires, the business’s record of the job does not. If you’d like a recording of your own call removed sooner, or a copy of it, email us at the address below and we’ll arrange it with the business.

How it’s used

Enquiry details are made available to the service business the customer contacted, so they can reply or call back. We use the information to operate the product — notifying the business, organising leads, and drafting replies that the business reviews and approves.

Sharing

We don’t sell personal information. We use trusted service providers (for example, for hosting and email delivery) to run LenaDesk.
